The Plaza Hotel and Plaza Regency Hotel
Generally rated as one property, these highly recommended hotels stand next to each other, share facilities and are connected by an external and internal passage on the 6th floor. The cafe and terrace in front of the plaza is very popular, and is the place to be seen at whilst sampling the fresh pastries, cakes or ice-cream.
From the top floor of the dining room the views over St Julian’s Bay are breathtaking; they are equally good from the connected roof terrace of the Plaza Regency, which sports pools for adults and children. Both terraces have free deckchairs and umbrellas, and there is a snack bar on the plaza side.
The al fresco Pastamania pizzeria and lounge bars are bustling at night and there is entertainment in the Regency bar. These sister hotels are probably better than several 4-star hotels.
