Another Cyprus sightseeing must is the Tombs of the Kings in Paphos; it is a truly amazing sight to see and is still undergoing archaeological work.
Paphos is also the famous birth place of Aphrodite the goddess of love and fertility, an aspect of the island’s history that has left its mark in Cyprus’ many attractions, ranging from the Aphrodite Rock, the Aphrodite Water Park and the highly esteemed annual Paphos Aphrodite Festival. And while you’re there, Paphos is also considered to be among one of the best places for Cyprus shopping.
Another popular Cyprus attraction is the week long Wine Festival held in Limassol during the first week of September. The festival attracts thousands of visitors every year and is considered one of the largest wine festivals in the world.
