The weather in Limassol makes for the perfect holiday

The weather in Limassol provides the perfect beach getaway and with its intense Mediterranean climate, is a wonderful year-round holiday destination.

If you want to avoid the rainy weather in Paphos then the summer season from June through to September is the best time to visit. In the summer months Limassol sees more than 12 hours of sunshine a day, giving you more time to explore this astonishing city and its wonderful attractions. But be prepared, the weather in Limassol can get extremely hot during this period, especially in August, so bring appropriate clothing and plenty of sun protection to ensure your holiday isn’t spent recovering from sunburn.

In the summer evenings we recommend you make your way to the coast where you will find a nice cool breeze coming from the shore and some delicious food to accompany it.

If you’re looking for a slightly quieter holiday the winter weather in Limassol still offers some fine temperatures, with rain at times but still enjoyable. The ultimate time for travelling for a more quiet experience is in the autumn time, when temperatures are on the rise and you can make the most of those glorious sandy beaches.
