Limassol has plenty of shopping for some retail therapy

Limassol shopping is varied and there are two main areas where Limassol shopping is centred, offering a large variety to browse and take home as souvenirs.

Aneksartisias Street is where your shopping should start as it offers a wide range of general shops and also hosts some great venues for eating in Limassol.

The second area for shopping in Limassol is St Andrews Street, where you will discover an assortment of more tourist-based shops. If this is not so appealing to you, maybe it’s best to pass through and just do a bit of sightseeing. You will find local people producing and selling such things as handcrafted jewellery and leather goods, which should give you more of a traditional experience of shopping in Limassol. As well as this, it offers great souvenir shops and also maps, cards and other items aimed at tourists.

Further afield is Makarios Avenue, Nicosia. This, however, is a place for people who want to go shopping for designer clothes as it is clustered with upmarket shops; you can even go shopping in Debenhams, as the avenue has its own department store.

For a break when shopping in Limassol we recommend Famagusta Nautical Club where you can enjoy a chilled beer alongside fresh made traditional seafood or meat dishes or even just snacks. For more information on shopping in Limassol follow the links.
